Worship is an act of encountering the presence of God. It should be done individually, daily but  on a weekly basis we come together to give God thanks for who is and what he’s done. It’s an act of surrender of our will regarding our mind, will, and emotions that requires our engagement.

Worship Leaders

While John was attending Rhema Bible college, we met in a small church we were attending in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and served as worship leaders there for 9 years. We were married in 2007, and had 4 children. While one of our daughters was going through chemo for leukemia, we felt God was telling us it was time to leave that ministry, and trust where he was taking us next. We visited several churches until we came to Sheridan. We knew during our first visit that we were home. We have had an incredible journey here at Sheridan. We have grown so much and have seen many people step up and take their place serving Jesus in our church, and it’s been amazing to be a part of! Music has always been a huge part of our lives, and we are thankful that God has given us this opportunity to serve. It is our hearts cry, that when people visit Sheridan, that they would not see us, but Jesus, and that they would be lead closer to the Lord through worship and the Word!
